Welcome to the BERTIE Type 1 Diabetes Education Programme. There is a lot of useful
information here to help you to understand and manage your diabetes in a way that suits you and your
lifestyle.
NEW: We have just launched the new and responsive version of the Key Learning
modules that will work effectively on whatever device you choose - phone, tablet or PC!
Your main focus should be on using the three Key learning modules to find out more about diabetes management techniques. In these modules you can also share your experiences with other people, build up a personal record of useful notes and earn the BERTIE certificate. Specific topics that may not be relevant to everybody are covered in more detail in the Lifewise and Streetwise areas.
If you have already worked through the Key Learning modules before April 10th 2019 then some of your data will be carried over to the new versions, but NOT any answers saved in 'Your record' or the assessments. You can download 'Your record' and your BERTIE certificate below, if you have already earned it:
